A (new part of a) 3d printed Mini-Universe in Silver, White, Copper or Gold for a newborn’s entertainment or year-round (grown-up) decoration. 🙂 First prototype edition in 2019 of 8 kinetic sculptures/mobiles…each colour version with a 90mm Earth, 70mm Moon and either a 70mm Venus or Mars.
That results in a scale of:
1 : 141.733.333,3 cm for the Earth
1 : 49.631.428,6 cm for the Moon (of Earth)
1 : 96.742.857,14 cm for Mars
1 : 172.914.285,71 cm for Venus
Each mobile is packed in an unique box with also 3d-printed hanging beams and shifters to get them all in equilibrium, as each filament is slightly differing in weight, I couldn’t find a setting that worked for all colours.

I am also still working on a “to scale” version…let me know if you have space for a 1,08 meter in diameter Jupiter and own at least an airplane hangar for an Airbus A380 to hang them! I am totally up for the challenge 🙂
