serving tray

serving tray

Serving tray out of 3 standard beechwood cutting boards glued on top of each other.
The shape is CNC-milled double sided and then manually sanded. Finished of with a a layer of beeswax.
The varying curvature allows for placement/arrangement of different round objects without them rolling off. A planar corner also allows for save positioning of items with flat bottom surfaces.

It ended up in my parents kitchen as a fruit “bowl”…so I included a lifelong service of re-sanding and rewaxing it once a year (usually around christmas 😉
